Troop 101 does uniforms from the waist up. Here is what to buy and where.
The khaki Scouts BSA shirt, worn for meetings, Courts of Honor, boards of review, and travel. Expect about $75 and up.
The shirt needs the Troop 101 numerals and the standard set of patches. The official reference for what goes where is Scouting America's Guide to Awards and Insignia.
We recommend buying new uniforms in person at the Scout Store next to the Braves stadium. Shirts come with patches pre-sewn, and the store will sew the 101 numerals on for you.
We do not require the scout hat, socks, belt, or neckerchief. All are optional. Navy, khaki, or olive shorts or pants are appropriate with a Class A uniform.
As your scout advances, we also recommend a merit badge sash to display and track their advancement.
Class B is the troop's own apparel, worn for outings, service projects, and most everyday scouting. The troop designs a few t-shirts, hoodies, and beanies each year. One t-shirt and one hoodie per year are included in the program fee; additional items can be purchased as desired. See our Class B lead with questions.
Ask about the Troop 101 uniform swap. Lightly used shirts and other items are often available at no cost, which matters because scouts grow. If your scout has outgrown a shirt, please pass it back into the swap.
